GreenBlenz Premium Compost

GreenBlenz Premium Compost is an extremely versatile soil amendment with a wide range of applications. At Lenz we blend organic residuals with woody materials and water and compost them in a controlled, aerated process. This results in a compost that fertilizes soil by the addition of hums, nutrients and beneficial soil bacteria.  Applications include: agriculture, horticulture, erosion control and many others.

Applications:

  • Soil amendment or top dressing for landscaping.  GreenBlenz adds organic matter and nutrients to the soil, increases water-holding capacity and biological activity, and improves plant growth and vigor.
  • Gardens, Flowers, Shrubs and Trees. For most garden bed uses, vegetables, flowers, shrubs and trees, use up to a 2 inch deep application of GreenBlenz Compost. Apply annually for best results, by either working GreenBlenz Compost directly into the soil before planting or apply directly to the surface as mulch.
  • Lawns. For lawns, simply apply ¼ inch of GreenBlenz to your lawn with a spreader and rake it smooth. Raking will work the compost into the soil, and encourage the blades of grass to rise through the coating.
  • Potting Soil and Planter Mixes. For potting soil and planter mixes, blend one part compost to one part peat moss (or fine bark), and one part sharp sand or on-site topsoil.

GreenBlenz has the US Composting Council’s national Seal of Testing Assurance and is WSDOT approved.
